    Civil Defence, NCoS, FFS, NIS announce new recruitment date

    The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has pushed back the opening date of its recruitment portal from 26th June to Monday, 14th July 2025.

    In a fresh update signed by the board’s secretary, Abdulmalik Jibrin, CDCFIB also introduced a new portal address for all prospective applicants:

    “The general public is hereby informed that our recruitment portal, previously scheduled to go live on 26th June, will now open on 14th July,” the statement read. “Applicants should also note that the new application portal.”

    The board stressed that all applications are entirely free and warned against making any payments to unauthorised individuals or platforms.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible, applicants must:

    • NIS, Civil Defence, FFS, NCoS announce nationwide recruitment

    • Be Nigerian citizens aged 18 to 35 years
    • Meet minimum physical and medical requirements

    Male applicants: at least 1.65 metres tall and chest measurement not less than 0.87 metres

    Female applicants: minimum height of 1.60 metres

    The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) apologised for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling and encouraged applicants to mark the new date and adhere strictly to the official guidelines.
