The UEFA Champions League knockout play-offs are set, with Manchester City facing reigning champions Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain drawn against French rivals Brest.
This season marked the introduction of a new league-phase format, with 36 teams competing in a single table.
After the conclusion of 18 simultaneous matches on Wednesday night, the top eight teams automatically secured their places in the round of 16.
Meanwhile, clubs finishing between ninth and 24th were drawn into play-offs to fight for a spot in the next stage.
At UEFA’s House of Football in Switzerland, former midfielder Thiago Alcântara conducted Friday’s draw, which determined the following fixtures:

- Sporting CP vs Borussia Dortmund
- Manchester City vs Real Madrid
- Celtic vs Bayern Munich
- Juventus vs PSV
- Feyenoord vs Milan

- Monaco vs Benfica
The first-leg matches will take place on February 11 and 12, with the return fixtures scheduled for February 18 and 19.
Following the conclusion of these ties, UEFA will conduct the draw for the round of 16, quarter-finals, and semi-finals on Friday, February 21, determining the path forward for teams that automatically advanced, including Liverpool, Barcelona, and Arsenal.
