The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has provided an update on its ongoing paramilitary recruitment exercise, stating that no screening is scheduled at the moment.
The board’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Juliet Okeh, disclosed this in a recent interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja.
Okeh was reacting to information circulating on some media platforms about a screening exercise allegedly fixed for April 15 in Kano.
She described the report as “fake” and advised the public to disregard it, noting that any official update on the recruitment process would be communicated through verified channels.
The PRO also urged applicants to remain cautious and avoid falling victim to fraudsters.
The board had earlier indicated that shortlisted candidates for physical screening and document verification would be released between December 1 and 3, 2025.
However, the exercise was later postponed, and a new date has yet to be announced.
