The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has closed Donald’s Fast Food, a business owned by Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, due to ongoing noise pollution and environmental infractions.
LASEPA closed the fast food business on Adebayo Doherty Street in Lekki 1 because it failed to comply with environmental regulations despite multiple warnings and abatement letters.
Tokunbo Wahab, Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, announced the closure on Sunday via his social media handle, saying, “After several warnings and abatement notices, LASEPA sealed Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1 over noise pollution and other environmental infractions.”
Cubana Chiefpriest was in recent times accused by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for allegedly abusing the naira.
The EFCC arraigned Cubana Chief Priest on April 17 on a three-count charge of allegedly spraying and tampering with the naira notes during a social event at the Eko Hotel, Lagos.
However, the case was struck out after both parties agreed to settle the matter out of court.
