Access Bank PLC on Tuesday announced a loan credit partnership initiative for Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to finance projects in Africa.
The initiative is in partnership with Future Perspectives and Africa Fintech Foundry, who are focused on implementation for the seed funding and capacity-building components.
Future Perspectives, a non-profit organization founded by Nigeria’s former vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

In an advertisement sighted by Chronicle NG. It reads, “We are excited to announce the Sustainable Finance Accelerator Program powered by Access Bank Plc.”
The program’s aim is to incubate and advance credit for sustainable finance projects in Africa.
It said that the initiative would focus on three areas:
1. The goal is to create a pipeline of climate mitigation and adaptation projects that could receive loan funding.
2. To support green sector entrepreneurs and SMEs with grants and seed funding.
3. To aid capacity-building for businesses in their early stages.
Interested applicants are to visit the Access Bank website.
It stated that October 20, 2024, is the application deadline for only seed funding and capacity-building.
“Loan applications are ongoing,” the Bank stated.
