    BREAKING: Buhari names Timipre Sylva as Minister of Petroleum

    President Muhammadu Buhari has assigned portfolios to 43 ministers on Wednesday after they had taken their Oath of Office on Wednesday at the State House in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

    He named the former governor of Bayelsa state, Timipre Sylva the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources.

    He also named Senator Godswill Akpabio as Minister of Niger Delta. Former Osun governor, Rauf Aregbesola was assigned Minister of Interior.

    The President charged the newly formed cabinet to work in harmony and ensure communications is priority as it is key to achieving the goals of the administration.

    3) Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio – Akwa Ibom, Niger Delta
