Rotimi Akeredolu was declared winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday.
In a congratulatory statement signed by his media aide, Kayode Fakuyi, the senator wished the governor-elect a successful tenure in office.
“There is no doubt that the challenges ahead of the governor-elect are enormous, especially in the areas of job creation, economy, and security of lives and properties in Ondo State.
“However, because the challenges are not insurmountable, I will continue to pray for him to surmount the challenges ahead,” he said.
