    Bandits demand N100m ransom for abducted Kaduna monarch

    The abductors of the first class Kaduna monarch that was kidnapped on Sunday afternoon have demanded a N100 million ransom to secure his release.

    The 83-year-old traditional ruler, Gyet Maude of Jaba local government area, was ambushed by the bandits in his farm around 2pm on Sunday.

    Accorrding to reports, the royal father was with his security aides when the abduction occurred.

    According to a source who spoke in anonymity to Daily Post, the bandits had contacted the family of the moarch to demand for N100 million ransom.

    The Kaduna state police command confirmed the abduction, adding that collaborative efforts had been made withe the Nasarawa police command to rescue the traditional ruler.
