Ahmed Dikko and Jimoh Yisawu face EFCC money laundering charges over alleged diversion of refinery rehabilitation funds.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) Kaduna Zonal Directorate stated that seven fraudsters were convicted before Justices R.M. Aikawa and Hauwa’u Buhari of the Federal High Court in Kaduna, as well as Justice A. Isiaka of the State High Court.  The convictions were based on distinct counts of money laundering, impersonation, and cybercrime. Agbecha Samson (aka Michelle Pfeiffer), Shamsudeen Alubankudi (aka Keren Adler), Paul Wadai (aka Odd Murphy), Onomza Gwamna (aka Dave Owen), Godswill Effiong, Esogban Godtemple (aka Lahm Moses), and Odeyale Victor (aka Candice Weiss) have all been found guilty. Plane makes emergency landing after engine failure

A passenger plane departing from Sydney, Australia, experienced engine failure on Friday, causing the aeroplane to circle before making a safe emergency landing, Qantas stated on X. According to a statement from Sydney Airport, a grass fire broke out on one side of the runway at the same time. It is unknown if the two instances were related. The fire has since been extinguished; however, some aircraft delays are expected. Hausa, Yoruba clash sparks tension in Oyo

A vigilante group member from Rivers State’s Obele community was shot and killed by suspected cultists.
