The national grid experienced a system disturbance on Friday, throwing some parts of the country, especially Lagos, into darkness. The federal government is celebrating a historic rise in power generation to 6,000 MW. However, power generation dropped below 1,000 MW at 2 pm from about 4,000 MW earlier.
