Three patients on life support at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital died after Kano Electricity Distribution Company cut off the hospital’s energy supply. Six people were killed by gunmen on Sunday night in a new attack on the Ikn’gwakap village of Mushere Chiefdom in Plateau State’s Bokkos Local Government Area. The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities and Allied Institutions (NASU) have issued a seven-day ultimatum to the government over issues pertaining to non-academic staff of universities.
