The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, has denied renouncing his Nigerian citizenship. Suspected gunmen have reportedly killed two men in the Ubeta-Owube axis of Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State. Mr. Glory Jato, a young man who got married earlier this month, has lost his life after he was swept away by flood on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Bethel Estate, Oba Ile community in Akure North local government area of Ondo State. Six Nigerian pilgrims participating in the 2023 Hajj in Saudi Arabia have been confirmed dead by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
