Commercial motorcycle operators, popularly known as okada riders, have been prohibited by the Osun State Police Command from wearing facemasks and hoods. Nine people, including four soldiers, were reported dead on Sunday evening when a civilian plane crashed in Sudan due to “technical” reasons, the army said, as the war in the east African country entered its 100th day. On Sunday, unidentified gunmen shot two yet to be identified police officers from Delta State’s Dragon Patrol Team at their checkpoint along the Ughelli-Asaba Road near the Oleh roundabout.
