An attack by unknown gunmen in Kerang community, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, has left no fewer than five people dead. A boat mishap off the coast of Mbo Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State has reportedly led to the deaths of about 10 people. It was gathered that of the 10 victims, five, who hailed from the Udung Uko Local Government Area of the state, were from the same family. Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has directed that the salaries of 10,800 workers engaged by his predecessor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, be suspended.
