A 25-year-old man, Godsgift Uweghwerhen, has been arrested by the police for allegedly flogging his three-year-old daughter to death in Aladja community, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. A top commander of the Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP), identified as Muhammed Malik, has been killed by troops of the air task force in the Lake Chad region. The Cross Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a woman who allegedly beheaded her 11-month-old child in Yonen community of Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area of the state. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) says it still has two billion litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) in stock amid the recent fuel scarcity in the country. This is contained in a statement issued by the Executive Vice President, Downstream, NNPC Limited, Mr Adeyemi Adetunji.
