The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the personal particulars of candidates contesting the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections. The particulars were displayed at INEC offices in local government headquarters across the country. The commission also published the personal particulars of the vice-presidential candidates. The documents include candidates’ full names, gender, residential addresses, educational qualifications, and work experience. Spain says almost all of the 60,000 migrants who entered its North African enclave of Ceuta from Morocco have returned to their country. As of Friday, Spanish authorities said at least 48,000 migrants had returned to Morocco. Italy has suspended its Schengen free-travel agreement with Spain after authorities said about 60,000 people crossed from Morocco into Ceuta, a Spanish autonomous city in North Africa.
