A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a suit instituted against the federal government by the family of the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, challenging the revocation of the property of the former military ruler located in the Maitama District of Abuja. Katsina State Government has introduced “Iddah Period Law”, to enable female civil servants to stay home for four months and ten days should they lose their husbands. The Max Air flight was cleared for takeoff before its first rear gear tyres burst, while the remaining two also went the way of the initial one while attempting to taxi off the aircraft from the runway.
