The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has said that the country supplies 24-hour electricity to neighbouring countries such as Niger, Togo and Benin Republic. TCN said electricity supplies are consistent and stable in those countries despite the fact that Nigeria could not boast of constant supply of power. A Federal Government investigative panel on Monday said there was no evidence that popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky slept outside the Kirikiri custodial facility during his six-month jail term. The Executive Director and founder of Prisoners’ Rehabilitation and Welfare Action, Uju Agomoh, disclosed this while reading the phase one report of the panel at the Ministry of Interior. The World Health Organization (WHO) urged Rwanda to keep up its fightback against Marburg, as the country battles an outbreak of one of the world’s deadliest viruses. A shallow 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck an island in eastern Indonesia on Monday, the United States Geological Survey said. The onshore quake hit the island of Tapat in the Molucca Sea at a depth of 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) at 10:24 local time (0324 GMT), USGS said.
