Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi has woken from an induced coma after having surgery to repair a serious abdominal injury. Awoniyi was taken to hospital on Monday, having collided with a goalpost in the closing stages of the 2-2 draw against Leicester City on Sunday. Awoniyi sustained a ruptured intestine in the incident, BBC reported. US singer Chris Brown has been arrested in the UK in connection with a bottle attack at a London nightclub in 2023. Chris Brown was arrested at a hotel in Manchester in the early hours of Thursday, and held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm to music producer Abe Diaw at the Tape nightclub in Mayfair. The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has arraigned Mrs. Moses  Esther for allegedly forging her posting letter and unlawfully manipulating the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) to continue receiving salaries while under suspension. Mrs. Esther was arraigned on Monday before Justice Yusuf Halilu of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court on a three-count charge filed by the ICPC.
