Operatives of the EFCC’s Benin Zonal Directorate have arrested a 64-year-old man, Ndubisi John Iheukwumere, for allegedly defrauding a petitioner of N165 million in a land deal. According to the Commission in a post on Facebook, Iheukwumere allegedly collaborated with a woman identified as Mrs. Salt Adaeze Udoka, who is currently on the run, to obtain the money under the pretence of selling a 100-acre property at Ewulu Kingdom in Delta State. The National Economic Council (NEC) has approved N100 billion for the rehabilitation of police and other security agencies’ training institutions across Nigeria. This decision followed recommendations from an ad hoc committee set up to assess the condition of security training facilities nationwide.
