Chrisland Schools has denied that a 10-year old pupil was raped during a sporting event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The reaction of the school comes barely 24 hours after school was shut down indefinitely by the Lagos State Government pending the conclusion of its investigation. A Kentucky man has been awarded $450,000 (£345,314) after his company threw him a surprise birthday party despite his warnings that it would trigger stress and anxiety. The plaintiff, Kevin Berling, claims that the unwanted 2019 birthday party at Gravity Diagnostics caused him a series of panic attacks. Mr Berling’s lawsuit alleged that the company discriminated against him based on a disability. The company has denied any wrongdoing. Troops of the 34 Artillery Brigade, Nigerian Army, have neutralised a notorious gunman of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed affiliate, Eastern Security Network (ESN), in Imo.
