Tadurga village in Zuru Local Government Area of Kebbi State was thrown into mourning on Monday night following a deadly attack by suspected bandits who killed several residents, abducted many others, and stole livestock. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has urged the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) to enforce a transparent pump pricing template. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday said Nigeria’s headline inflation rate eased further to 22.97 per cent in its Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Inflation Report for May 2025. According to the report, the headline inflation showed a decrease of 0.74 per cent compared to the 23.71 per cent recorded in April 2025.
