The Lagos State Taskforce on Friday carried out an early morning raid across strategic locations of the State to rid the metropolis of criminal elements who carry out nefarious activities at odd hours of the day. At least 34 people, including seven soldiers, were killed in an attack by bandits in Zamfara state, the head of a vigilante group and residents said. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) says Nigerians paid an average of N815 per litre for Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel) in June 2023, noting that, it was an increase of 11.81 per cent.
