The Lagos State Taskforce led by CSP Shola Jejeloye has served a removal notice to squatters and occupants of shanties and illegal structures at Alaba Rago in Ojo Local Government Area of the State, directing them to vacate the area immediately. This comes after a previous notice was served to the occupants of the illegal structures in Alaba Rago on the May 19, 2022 urging them to move out of the settlement which had been marked for demolition by the Lagos government. Former aviation minister, Hadi Sirika is accused of misappropriation of public funds by EFCC

A Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Abuja on Thursday has granted the former minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika, and his brother, Ahmad Abubakar Sirika, bail in the sum of N100 million each and two sureties.
