The Federal Government’s Sovereign Sukuk bond of N150n offered to investors was oversubscribed by N519.12bn, the Debt Management Office has said. The DMO said on Friday in a statement that the offer attracted a total subscription of N669.12bn, representing a subscription level of 446 per cent. It said it allotted N162.557bn to investors in the third Sovereign Sukuk. The debt office said the high demand for the bond came from a wide range of investors, including ethical funds, insurance companies, fund managers and retail investors. Mrs Ibidunni Ighodalo renown event planner and founder of Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation is dead. The former beauty queen and wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, head pastor of Trinity House Church reportedly died on Sunday. Ibidunni reportedly had a heart attack in Port Harcourt where she was handling COVID-19 isolation centre projects. Boko Haram terrorists killed at least 20 soldiers, over 40 civilians and injured hundreds in twin attacks in Borno state on Saturday, residents and a civilian task force fighter said. The attacks, in the Monguno and Nganzai local government areas, came just days after militants killed at least 69 people in a raid on a village in a third area, Gubio.
