The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 118 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Monday. The 118 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 61,558. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state, on Monday October 19, inaugurated an eight man panel of inquiry to investigate cases of brutality and human rights violation committed by operatives of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS in the state.
