The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, November 30, 2020 re-arraigned former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal before Justice Charles Agbaza of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Jabi. According to the EFCC, the defendants were initially arraigned before Justice Okeke on August 4, 2020, but following the judge’s demise, the case has to start afresh before Justice Agbaza. Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state on Monday says drastic measures are needed in the fight against insurgency, including the use of mercenaries. The governor, renowned for his radical ideas, listed other ways to stop the killings and ravaging of the Northeast by Boko Haram insurgents. US President-elect Joe Biden has fractured his foot while playing with one of his dogs, his doctor has said. Mr Biden, 78, twisted his ankle on Saturday when he slipped while with Major, one of his two German shepherds. On Monday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) re-arraigned the Managing Director of First Nation Airways Ltd., Mr Kayode Odukoya, over alleged N2.1 billion fraud. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the commission brought Odukoya before an Ikeja Special Offences Court on a seven-count charge.
