The Police Service Commission (PSC) has deferred decision in the case involving suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari. Kyari had earlier been indicted by a report of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States and was also investigated by a special panel set up by the Inspector General of Police. According to the FBI, Abba Kyari received money from internet fraudster, Hushpuppi, to arrest his partner in Nigeria. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 42 suspected internet fraudsters at various locations in Asaba, Delta State. They were arrested on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in a sting operation. Supreme Court has declared as unlawful and unconstitutional the Executive Order 10 (EO10) issued by President Muhammadu Buhari on the funding of State Judiciary and Legislature.
