The Zamfara State Government yesterday ordered immediate closure of four markets across three local government areas in the state as the death toll from reprisal attacks between bandits and vigilante members rose to 90. Reports from affected communities indicated that no fewer than 90 corpses had been buried after the latest round of mayhem while many people were still missing. He is accused of causing actual bodily harm to a woman in her 30s and common assault of a woman in her 20s at an address in Salford last November. A malaria vaccine has proved to be 77% effective in early trials and could be a major breakthrough against the disease, say its developers from the University of Oxford. Malaria kills more than 400,000 people a year, mostly children in sub-Saharan Africa. But despite many vaccines being trialled over the years, none has met the required target for success.
