Justice Ambrose Lewis Allagoa of a Lagos Federal High Court, has fixed April 22, for judgment in a suit seeking to wind-up Primero Transport Service Limited, operators of Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) over alleged unpaid N63, 466, 000. Justice Allagoa fixed the date after parties through their counsel moved and adopted their processes in court today. Lagos govt re-arraigns kidnapper Evans over killing of police officers

An Ikeja High Court in Lagos on Friday sentenced Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike popularly known as Evans and two others, Uchenna Amadi and Okuchuwkwu Nwachukwu, to life imprisonment for kidnapping. Presiding judge, Hakeem Oshodi sentenced to the trio after convicting them on two counts of conspiracy and kidnapping of a businessman, Donatus Duru, Managing Director of Maydon Pharmaceuticals Limited. In convicting the men, Justice Oshodi held that the prosecution had successfully proved the charge against them beyond a reasonable doubt. Evans, others given ultimatum to hire lawyers

Justice Hakeem Oshodi of Ikeja High Court on Friday declared Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike (alias Evans) and two others guilty of kidnapping. The duo also found guilty of kidnapping are Amadi and Okwuchukwu Nwachukwu. Justice Oshodi in his ruling found Evans guilty of kidnapping the Managing Director of Maydon Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Donatus Dunu on February 14, 2017, and collecting 223,000 Euros as ransom from his family. Five persons were arraigned along with Evans, but the court found only two of the defendants guilty.
