Isah Bayero, chief protocol officer of the Emir of Kano, has given Air Peace airline a 72-hour ultimatum to offer an apology for ‘disrespecting’ the Emir, Aminu Ado-Bayero, and causing a delay to his flight. Several European nations have closed their airspace to Russian flights, as Moscow faces rising pressure over the invasion of Ukraine. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday announced that the 2023 Presidential election will hold on 25 February, 2023. The national assembly elections will hold on same date while the governorship and state assembly elections with both hold on 11 March, 2023. Announcing the timeline for the 2023 elections, INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu noted that campaigns will end a day before elections hold.
