Denmark’s Christian Eriksen will be fitted with a heart-starting device following his collapse on the pitch during Euro 2020. The 29-year-old midfielder suffered cardiac arrest in his side’s defeat by Finland in Copenhagen on Saturday. A Lagos High Court sitting in the Ikeja area has convicted Francis Atuche, a former Managing Director of the defunct Bank PHB on charges of stealing the sum of N25.7bn belonging to the bank. Gunmen suspected to be bandits have killed one person and kidnapped two nationals of the Republic of China in Taraba State. The incident was said to have taken place on Monday night at a mining site at Arufu community in Wukari Local Government Area of the state.
