(Dr) Mudashiru Obasa, has condoled with the family of the Commissioner of Police in the State, Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, over the death of his mother, Alhaja Sikirat Odumosu. A teenage female boxer has died five days after being knocked out in a professional fight. Mexican welterweight Jeanette Zacarias Zapata, 18, was knocked down in the fourth round against Marie Pier Houle at the GVM Gala International in Montreal on Saturday. The Lagos Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has revealed details of how 402 cybercriminals were arrested within three months. According to the anti-graft agency, majority of the suspects operate from Lekki, the fastest growing city in Lagos state. The EFCC also noted that the common modus operandi of the internet fraudsters was  Dating Scam/Online Dating Scam/Romance Scam. A policeman and a local vigilante leader have been reportedly killed during an attack by bandits in Nahuche district in Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State. According to an eyewitness, Malan Abubakar, the attack occurred in the early hours of Friday morning (around 3am to 4am), during which the bandits abducted two women and two men. Abubakar said that the assailants first invaded a nearby village in Nahuche called Gidan Jan Bul. A Court of Appeal in Abuja has declared Valentine Ozigbo as the rightful flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the November 6 gubernatorial election in Anambra state. The order which was given by the court on Friday, was in response to an appeal filed by Ozigbo and the PDP (CA/AW/223/2021 and CA/AW/234/2021). Air Peace says a duty waiver policy by the federal government has helped the airline save N13 billion on the acquisition of 13 new aircraft. Chairman of the private airline, Allen Onyema, praised the Buhari administration for granting airline operators waiver on importation of aircraft, as well as removing Value Added Tax (VAT) from air tickets.
