Kelechi Vitali Anozie was arrested by EFCC for wire fraud

Enugu Command of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested Kelechi Vitalis Anozie, a suspect on the watch list of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI. Anozie is the founder and general overseer of Praying City Church located in Owerri, Imo State. He was arrested on March 10, 2022, following credible intelligence linking him to alleged conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering. An Upper Area Court in Gwagwalada, Abuja, on Thursday, sentenced a 19-year-old student, Hillary Yunana to four months imprisonment for stealing spaghetti and noodles from a shop. The convict, a resident of Bassa village, on airport road, Abuja, was charged with house breaking and theft.
