The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Mr Fatai Owoseni, said the command was working with sister security agencies to arrest the suspected militants that killed four policemen, an army captain and a civilian today. Owoseni said this today while responding to the killings by the militants in Isawo area of Ikorodu in Lagos state. Operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a driver who connived with three other persons in diverting his company 600 bags of flour before dismembering the truck for sale in pieces. Nigeria’s foreign reserves climb to $41bn, highest since 2021

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has auctioned $418 million at a marginal rate of N310 to a dollar, to airlines, agriculture, petroleum and raw materials sub sectors. A street in Ikorodu town, Lagos

No fewer than five policemen and two soldiers, including an army captain were killed by suspected militants early Sunday morning in Ikorodu Area of Lagos. Sources told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the bodies of the victims had been removed. The slain Captain was simply identified as Muhammad.
