Boko Haram jihadists have killed six farmers who were working on their land near the northeast Nigerian city of Maiduguri, civilian militia members and locals told AFP on Monday. A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday transferred the case filed by the Police against 23 Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials to Port Harcourt division of the court. The officials were docked for allegedly receiving N360 million as bribe from the Rivers Government to compromise the results of the Dec.10, 2016 re-run parliamentary elections in the state. The ISIS (Islamic State Iraq and Syria) has executed more than 145 civilians for trying to flee the western part of the Iraqi city of Mosul, according to official. The official said on Saturday that the civilians from al-Zanjili neighbourhood in western Mosul were executed after they were caught attempting to escape. Suspected Fulani herdsmen have invaded a mosque in Etogi community, Gbara Ward, Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State, and killed 21 people. According to Vanguard, there had been a disagreement between some young men of Northern extraction and members of the community, during which a herdsman was killed.
