The Nigerian Embassy in Washington DC, has disengaged some 15 local workers at the embassy. Senior officials at the embassy told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the benefits of the 15 local workers would be paid soon. They said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, approved the disengagement of the workers due to some ongoing rationalisation of workers at the embassy. Police have named Nasim Aghdam, 39, as the woman who shot and wounded three people at YouTube’s headquarters in Northern California before killing herself. They say there is no evidence yet that she knew the victims, a 36-year-old man said to be in a critical condition, and two women aged 32 and 27. The governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have met with President Muhammadu Buhari after the February meeting they had in Katsina, but did not reach an agreement on a number of issues.
