Facebook claims the data of up to 87 million people was improperly shared with the political consultancy Cambridge Analytica – many more than previously disclosed. The BBC has been told that about 1.1 million of them are UK-based. The overall figure had been previously quoted as being 50 million by the whistleblower Christopher Wylie. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been convicted over the killing of two endangered blackbuck antelope back in 1998 during the shooting of a movie. Khan could now face between one and six years in jail. He can appeal against the verdict. Nigeria international Obafemi Martins has been ruled out of action for between six and seven months with a torn hamstring, his Chinese Super League (CSL) club Shanghai Shenhua announced on Wednesday. Former England and Chelsea midfielder Ray Wilkins has died in hospital at the age of 61 after battling cardiac arrest. Wilkins, who also played for Manchester United, AC Milan, Rangers and QPR, was being treated at St George’s Hospital in London following a cardiac arrest.
