A 27-year-old man, Uber driver, James Ejemba, was on Wednesday brought before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court for allegedly absconding with his employer’s Toyota Corolla car valued at N2 million. Ejemba, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing. Donald Trump’s former doctor has said he did not write a 2015 letter declaring the then-Republican presidential candidate’s “astonishingly excellent” health, US media report. “[Mr Trump] dictated that whole letter,” Harold Bornstein told CNN. Total world military expenditure rose to $1.73 trillion in 2017, a marginal increase of 1.1 per cent from 2016. The 2017 expenditure is highest level since the Cold War, with the US, China and Saudi Arabia topping the list. The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) said that the spending translated into $230 per person.
