Twenty eight members of the Home for the Needy and Internally Displaced Persons Camp at Uhorgua community in Edo are currently studying various courses at the Edo State University at Iyamho. Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi on Sunday commended Dangote Group for setting up a rice mill in the state, saying it would create employment and boost the economy. Bagudu who visited the factory site at Saminaka in Shanga Local Government Area of the state, said the investment would also rack up the rice value chain and add value to local farmers. The Police Command in Ekiti on Sunday confirmed that two students of Ado Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti, drowned in Ureje River on Friday. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Caleb Ikechukwu, told NAN in Ado-Ekiti that the corpses of the students had been retrieved and deposited at a morgue. “We learnt the students went to the river to swim and got drowned.
