The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) says it has arrested a suspected human trafficker with five female victims enroute Niger Republic to Europe. The Comptroller General, NIS, Mr Muhammad Babandede, disclosed this in a statement by the Service Public Relations Officer, Mr Sunday James, on Saturday in Abuja. He added that the arrest was made by the operatives at Kongolam border, Katsina State. A mother has pleaded guilty after she was accused of forcing two toddlers to have sex with each other so her paedophile boyfriend could watch. United States Attorney Maria Chapa Lopez announced that a federal jury has found Rose Beth Litzky (33, Palm Bay) guilty of conspiracy to produce child pornography, production of child pornography, and possession of child pornography, involving two female children. A Federal High Court in Abuja will on 29 November 2019 rule in the bail application filed by Faisal, the son of the detained former Chairman, Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina. Justice Okon Abang gave the date on Friday after taking the arguments from the prosecution and defence in Faisal’s trial for alleged money laundering activities. One person died on Saturday, while nine others sustained injuries in a fatal accident involving two mini buses. Mr Andrew Kumapayi, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra Command, who confirmed the death said 10 persons were involved in the accident. Kumapayi said the accident occurred when an Onitsha bound bus fully laden with pepper wrongfully overtook a vehicle and rammed into another bus that was Awka bound in a head on collision.
