The corporation in a statement by it’s acting spokesman, Mr Samson Makoji, in Abuja on Wednesday distance itself and all its subsidiaries from such advert. The corporation described the online advert which contrived that the exercise was organised to improve the standard of learning of Chemistry in Nigeria as phoney. He said: “I must commend the United Nations for its position on the Hate Speech bill without the death penalty. The Senate on Thursday received a request from President Muhammadu Buhari for the approval of $30 billion for the Federal Government’s 2016 – 2018 borrowing plan. The letter, which was dated November 26, 2019, was read on the floor by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, during plenary. President Buhari, in the letter, said the eighth National Assembly approved only a part of the External Borrowing request forwarded to it in September 2016. US President Donald Trump has signed into law a bill that supports pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong. The Human Rights and Democracy Act mandates an annual review, to check if Hong Kong has enough autonomy to justify its special status with the US. Mr Trump said he signed the law “out of respect for President Xi [Jinping], China, and the people of Hong Kong”. A German man convicted of murder in 1982 has the right to have his name removed from online search results, Germany’s highest court has ruled. The constitutional court in Karlsruhe ruled in favour of the man, who was handed a life sentence for murdering two people on a yacht in 1982. He was released from jail in 2002 and says he wants his family name to be distanced from his crime. The ruling could force publications to restrict access to online archives. What was the case?
