The Hijrah Council of Nigeria has admonished traders to be just in their dealings with fellow Nigerians by making sure they do not inflate prices of goods and services. President Muhammadu Buhari has received the report on new revenue allocation formula from the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) in the State House, Abuja, on Thursday. The US Supreme Court is to include a black female justice for the first time in its 233-year history after the Senate confirmed Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the nine-member bench. Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe and immediate past interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally presented the new National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Adamu, to President Muhammadu Buhari. The Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday delivered a judgement in favour of Cross River governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, and his deputy, Prof. Ivara Esu, in respect of their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Justice Taiwo Taiwo cited the judgment of the Court of Appeal in Enugu that defection is not a ground for removal from office.
