During his political career, he was Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and he died at the age of 71 in Abuja, according to sources.
According to a source who talked with newsmen, he died in an Abuja hospital after having a stroke. This allegedly occurred following the previous Ramadan fast.
Before his tragic death, the AIT boss had been managing his health and was undergoing occupational therapy to better his everyday tasks.
