The National Hospital, Asokoro, and five other hospitals in the nation’s capital have released 31 patients of a recent building collapse that claimed two lives in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The 37 people who were saved from the event on last Wednesday were brought to two private hospitals in addition to the National Hospital and Garki Hospital.
Mr. Noel Haruna, the acting secretary of the Health and Human Services Secretariat, announced on Saturday that the FCT Administration (FCTA) was covering the victims’ medical expenses.
Chronicle NG reports that FCTA officials were visiting victims of the most recent building collapse in the capital city’s Garki neighbourhood.
The tragedy happened on last Wednesday night, leaving many homeless, including Charity Amadi, a pregnant woman.
The FCTA guarantees that all victims will be able to resume their regular lives after being saved.
