    The All Progressives Congress (APC) has zoned its national chairmanship position to the North Central ahead of its national convention scheduled for March 26.

    Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state told State House journalists on Tuesday that the party decided to juxtapose the offices that were previously held by the north and south.

    He explained positions that were previously held by the north was moved to the south and vice versa.

    The office of the National Publicity Secretary was zoned to the South South while the office of the National Secretary and National Youth Leader was zoned to the South West.

    The deputy national chairman (South) and the national treasurer of the party was zoned to the South East.

    The office of the deputy national chairman (North) and the national auditor was zoned to the North East.

    The offices of the national legal adviser, national organizing secretary and national financial secretary were all zoned to the North West.
