Chelsea have signed Marcus Bettinelli from Fulham on two-year contract. The 29-year-old Englishman brings experience and vigour to the team.
The financial details of the deal are yet to be revealed.
The 6″4′ goalkeeper spent more than a decade at Fulham, making 120 appearances for the whites. He also played for England’s under-21 squad at the beginning of his career.
An excited Bettinelli stated that the move to Stamfor Bridge was a dream come through, adding that this was not the first time that a move was attempted but what matters most is that he is here now.

He said: “It’s always been a special club. I know the area very well so it’s been a dream of mine to come over to this side and it’s finally happened. There were some talks a few years ago when I was a bit younger and for whatever reason that didn’t come about but I’m here now.
“I’m really excited to be involved and looking forward to trying to impress and help the team as much as I can.”
Bettinelli started his career at Fulham at the age of 14 and playing his way to the top before making his club debut at the beginning of the 2014/15 season following their relegation to the Championship.
Winthin a decade, Bettinelli established himself as Fulham’s first-choice keeper, making 45 appearances in all competitions and earning international recognition with a maiden call-up to the England Under-21s squad.
