    The eight members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) that were kidnapped in Kaduna have regained their freedom.

    The heartwarming news was made known by the General Overseer of the church, Pastor E.A. Adeboye via his official Twitter handle.

    Chronicle NG had earlier reported that the eight members of the renowned church were abducted on the Kachia-Kafanchan highway Friday evening while travelling in the church’s bus.

    According to the General Overseer: “Today I got the exciting news that our brethren who were in captivity of kidnappers have all been released and taken to the Hospital for checkup and tests. Glory be to Jesus. We pray for lasting peace in all troubled regions of the country in Jesus name.”
