The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released results of the 2020 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

WAEC had promised the results would be released on Monday, November 2, 2020.

The release of the results was postponed due to the violence that trailed the #EndSARS protests.

How to check results released by WAEC

Candidates that participated in the examination can check their result on the WAEC website.

Remember the smart identity card used during the exams? Well, the result checker pin and serial number contained on it are all that is needed.

“Candidates who sat for the examination and who have fulfilled their financial obligations to the Council can access their performance on the Council’s result website: www.waecdirect.org,” WAEC said.

Adding that, “The Result Checker PIN and serial number required by candidates to check their results online are contained on the candidate’s Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination.

“Certificates of candidates whose results have been fully processed and released will be ready within the next 90 days, counting from today.
