The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 136 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Monday.
The 126 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 58,460.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 101 patients from isolation centers across the country with three new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 71 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 19310.
Rivers state reported 23 new cases, Plateau state recorded 12 while Adamawa state announced 6 new cases.
Other states are Oyo-6, Kaduna-5, Abia-3, Federal Capital Territory-3, Katsina-2, Kwara-2, Bauchi-1, Borno-1 and Edo-1.
NCDC reports that there are 58,460 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 49,895 discharged and 1,111 deaths.
